Welcome to the
Jack Bloor Races and Fund website
Following Jack Bloor's death in 1984, the Jack Bloor fund was established to continue his work in helping those who lack the means to pursue their dreams in the outdoors.
The Jack Bloor races were set up to raise money for the Fund. The annual senior and junior races take place on Ilkley Moor in May.
Thanks to everyone who ran and helped. Congratulations to the open winners: Lizzie Adams (Hallamshire) and Chris Birchall (Leeds City)
Senior results are posted here, report and junior results to follow.

Gemma King Memorial Fund
On 6th June 2007 Gemma King suffered a fatal accident during innocent childplay whilst on a family holiday in the Picos de Europa mountains of northern Spain. She was just 11 years old. The Gemma King Memorial Fund was established to support a number of charities that enhance children's appreciation of wildlife and outdoor adventure. We think it very appropriate that one such beneficiary is the Jack Bloor Memorial Fund. Since his death in 1984, Jack's Memorial Fund has helped young people who lack the means to pursue their dreams in the outdoors. The Jack Bloor Races support this fund. Read the full article here
