The Jack Bloor Fund

The Jack Bloor Fund was established in 1985 to commemorate the life of Jack Bloor. Jack is a Yorkshire legend. He was a pioneering fell runner and climber who also orienteered, caved and cycled. As well as being an accomplished athlete in his own right, Jack was a former chairman of the Yorkshire BMC, helped start the Three Peaks Fell Race (won in 1956) and coached world class orienteers.

The Fund Trustees continue Jack’s enthusiasm for encouraging young people to enjoy the outdoors whilst always aiming to fulfil their potential. See how the Fund helped recipients on the Jack Bloor Races Instagram page.
